Bangladesh Tech Momentum
Gear up for BEAR Summit 2026 as we prepare to showcase Bangladesh's tech evolution to the world
BEAR Summit is Bangladesh's flagship deep-tech gathering, convening government, universities, industry, and the global semiconductor ecosystem under one execution-focused platform. After the inaugural BEAR Summit 2025, BEAR Summit 2026 accelerates the transition from discussions to delivery: talent pipelines, training centers, policy frameworks, and pathways from ideas to deployable systems and global-scale digital products.
Silicon River is the national vision and global positioning framework that connects the full stack: education → training → research → productization → industry partnerships → global branding.
BSIA is a major partner enabling coordination, stakeholder alignment, and sustained momentum.
From Sand to Silicon, Powered by Silicon River.
A quick look at moments that shaped the inaugural summit and inspired the 2026 edition.

A newly elected Government and Parliament enables long-term national execution.
Workforce, design, packaging, test, and supply-chain readiness.
Senior participation in 2025 by VPs or above from Applied Materials, SK hynix, GlobalFoundries, NXP, Synopsys, SanDisk, TEL, MediaTek, Enovix, and IEEE.
Move from talent-only to products, systems, and brands.
BEAR Summit 2026 will feature:
Executive participation from global technology and semiconductor leaders
CREST Fellows progress presentations (measurable outcomes)
Execution frameworks for national initiatives (not just panels)
Two national competitions that feed directly into global showcase pathways
Roadshows, partnerships, and ecosystem announcements aligned with Silicon River
Pathways from ideas to global brands
Goal:
Deployable, field-tested systems addressing national constraints (urban density, climate stress, fragile infrastructure).
Outcome:
Working prototypes, validated by testing and realism.
Showcase:
BEAR Summit 2026 → CES 2027 (Bangladesh Pavilion)
Submission:
Concept note + 5-minute video (and later prototype milestones)
Proof of momentum
STAR facility design hosted by BUET
CREST established
BASICS curriculum framework
